Zum ersten Mal

When bass riffs merge with organ chords, it's time for "DEEP ORGAN ON ROCK" again in the Johanneskirche in Darmstadt. That's the name of the music project in which a rock band and the church organ perform well-known rock and pop classics together. With this impressive musical crossover, the D.O.O.R. project has been delighting lovers of organ and rock music with its sacred sonority for years. Full churches and satisfied event organizers are the result.

FIRST CD RELEASE ON ORGANOPHON!

D.O.O.R - DEEP ORGAN ON ROCK

The  D.O.O.R. project has been on the road with different casts since 2007. Starting from the home church of the founder, Pastor Gerhard Schnitzspahn, it made its way beyond the borders of Darmstadt.   Of course, the church organ and the electric guitar are always there. The wind section was added in 2015 and the repertoire grew steadily.

After the press, radio and television had long since become aware of this unique combination, it was time to produce a CD. After the copyrights could be clarified, it was released under the ORGANO PHON label.

There are audio samples on the link under the cover picture.

Konzerte 2024 - Teil 4

SOMMERKONZERT in Gundernhausen

Erste Konzerte 2024 - Teil 2

Erste Konzerte 2024 - Teil 1

KULTURSOMMER IN SCHWEGENHEIM gefeiert. Und am Samstag als Opener bei der 15. DIEBURGER ORGELMEILE gespielt.

WEITERE NACHRICHTEN

INQUIRY FROM HESSENTAG 2023

EWe received a positive inquiry from the event management of the Hessentag and good agreements have already been reachedand preliminary planning. The Martinskirche in Pfungstadt will be set up as a "lucky church" for reflection and refueling. WWe are allowed on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023  on the Stadthausbühne for Glücksmmoments worry and look forward.

CONCERT SEASON SUCCESSFULLY ENDED!

Finally we had some opportunities again to wow our audience with our unique and exciting performances. We feel honored that after the lean Corona years and numerous cancellations, we were allowed to play almost every evening in front of a grateful and full house. That includes some loyal viewers who never miss a single concert near them. We are looking forward to next year, when we have a lot planned again.

If the Musician Director is enthusiastic and the musicians say after three encores that they played everything they could, that also shows that it was a good evening.
